UFC 242 delivered, however Liana Jojua certainly did not…holy shit what a disappointment. Davi didn’t deliver either. The more surprising result was Don Madge just scoring 61.5, that fight was pretty ugly….Not the best result last week but we turn the page and move forward. This weekend the UFC heads to Vancouver, Canada as Justin Gaethje takes on Donald Cerrone in the main event which most certainly should deliver. The rest of the card is pretty watered down…honestly if I lived in Vancouver I’d be pissed. I’ll have a limited amount of lineups this week because there’s just a lot of coin flip fights, and we all know about the Canadian judging too…so use caution. Not a whole lot that I like on this card so here are a few fighters I like for lineups.

Chalk

Michel Pereira $9500 –  Tristan Connelly is coming in on short notice and this fight will not be close. I’ll be shocked if Pereira doesn’t finish this guy in less than 3 minutes. This isn’t rocket science.

Justin Gaethje $9000 – I think Gaethje is a really bad matchup for Donald Cerrone, and I’m a big Cerronefan. Few fighters in the UFC bring the pressure and volume that Gaethje does. How does Cerrone deal with pressure? Check out the fights against Darren Till and Jorge Masvidal. I expect a similar result here. I may have a lineup with Cowboy, but I really think Gaethje gets the job done here.

Mid-Tier

Jimmy Crute $8200 – Crute just has the tools to get the job done here. I think he’ll break Cirkunov…I honestly think Crute should be priced higher. Many may think Cirkunov is a live dog, I totally disagree.

Dogs

Glover Teixeira $7700 – I feel that Glover might be the most popular guy under 8k and for good reason. First off Glover has great recovery and good fight IQ. Many may not realize that Glover is on a 2 fight win streak, and there will most likely be a point in the fight where he gets tagged, but he recovers quickly, gets the fight to the ground and gets the job done. Krylov is a guy I’m just not sold on, yeah he beat OvinceSaint Preux, but lets be honest OSP is on the decline. If you want a guy that is going to fight for your money, Glover is one of those guys.

Hunter Azure $7300  Azure is making his octagon debut, just keep that in mind. I’m just not sold on Brad Katona, Azure isd going to make this an ugly fight and his wrestling will take over here. Katona is better on the feet but I don’t see the fight on the feet for long. Azure is a very live dog in my opinion.

Can’t trust this guy…

Marcin Tybura $8400 – Tybura has lost 3 out of 4, and frankly you just don’t know what you’re going to get out of this guy. He could come up big, but I wouldn’t bet on it, that’s for damn sure. Staying far away and if anything I’ll put Augusto Sakai in a lineup or two.
