Well, Recap Camillo no Bueno. Since I just got back from Mexico, I figured that was necessary. Kramer Hickock came through again for us. Check back later to see if we go for 3 in a row. Stuard was ho-hum but did make the cut in a week where the 6/6% was relatively low.

Ruby #1 Luke List ($6800) – I know this can be seen as a popular play, but He has been striping the ball. He is still an awful putter but has a very good history of playing decent at Torrey and making the cut and even contending for a top 10. Coming off a tourney, he gained over four strokes on approach and over six on tee to green. The only reason List missed the cut at Sony was because he lost six strokes putting. This is his third tournament with his new clubs, and he’s been getting better at each one. I like him to contend this week for a top 10.

Ruby #2: Doug Ghim ($6900)– This guy burned us two weeks ago. And we should have stayed on him, but of course, we didn’t. I’m back on him this week again. Made the cut in 1 of 2 attempts here, and it was a 20th place finish in 2019. Ghim played well last week at the AMEX and hopefully keeps it going into this week. I will continue to ride the Ghim wave.

Ruby #3: Rob Oppenheim ($6200)– This is my dart of the week. Oppenheim gained 8….yes, EIGHT…strokes on approach last week. That is hard to do at his price that seems ridiculous. So I am going to ride it, hoping for a made cut at that price. I’m still baffled at that price for how well he played last week. He is a lousy putter, but that’s expected.

Good Luck this week
