Last week I got absolutely pummelled in DFS and betting. Nothing of not. I don’t think I won one bet and I know I lost all my weekly DFS amount. Oh well stuff happens. I move on. I like the field this week because I like these types of players. Obviously I like majors and having all the super stars of golf at one event, but these guys are very good as well and its fun to watch them

Ruby #1: Hank Lebioda ($6500)– Repeat Ruby from last week. Hank has been absolutely striking the ball with the best of them for this field. He ranks top 10 last 12 rounds in Tee to Green, Ball Striking , and approach. Hank is a bad putter so be careful there. His pricing doesn’t make a lot of sense. He was higher $6000s last week and finished 21st and now dropeed to $6500 in a similar field? That doesn’t make much sense to me so I’m going to play Hank again this week. He can make birdies and eagles with the upper group of the players in this field. He did miss the cut here last year as it might have been his worst tournament of the year as far as strokes gained total went and he did miss the cut in 2018.

Ruby #2: Jason Dufner ($6800)– I have always been a huge fan of Duff Daddy. He has actually been playing some very solid golf as of late. He did lose strokes on approach at the Safeway, but he hasn’t lost strokes on approach in consecutive tournaments since August of 2019. He can get a hot putter and his wedge game is usually stellar. If he loses OTT it’s not much of a worry here. The greens in reg is so high for everyone here it will be about his proximity for his putting.

Ruby #3 Scott Piercy ($6700)– This one won’t make a lot of sense if you just look at his numbers. Piercy is a very good wedge player. I have seen some correlation to Sony Open and Piercy hasn’t missed a cut at the Sony Open since 2014. He has gained strokes on approach in 2 of last 4 tournaments, and the 2 he lost on it was very minor. Piercy best putting surface is Bermuda and we know he can make a lot of birdies. He has played relatively decent as of late with a 69th at the Wyndham and 29th at the Northern Trust.

Lets stay positive this week and not have a Coal. I’ve been quite awful at Coal picks anyways.

Good Luck this week
