Nothing to recap accept the fact we haven’t had golf in 3 months and we are all jacked for it to be back again this week. If anyone tries to tell you their process or anything this week they have no clue like everyone. So, precursor, I don’t know crap either.

Ruby #1: Bud Cauley ($6800)– Bud had been steadily making cuts before the break. He has been getting better and better since his scary car crash. Bud will hit the fairways and it all comes down to how the putter is going this week. He lost over 5 strokes putting here last year but his form wasn’t great at the time. He did gain over 4 strokes T2G at the Colonial last year. At his price, I just want him to make the cut. Cauley hasn’t had a putting performance as he had here last year since then. He won’t be very high owned and if he makes the cut you are miles ahead of the field.

Ruby #2: Carlos Ortiz ($6800)– Ortiz finished 4th last year at the Houston Open and 12th at the Byron Nelson. He did MC last year here but his form was awful. I don’t know what his form is this year obviously but it can’t be as bad as the stretch he went through last year. Ortiz can hit fairways and make runs. Just like in Mexico where he was hitting fairways. He started slow there and made a run. Ortiz’s worst putting surface is Bermuda and we are on bent this week where he is about average. He was playing very good golf this year before the break so hopefully, he has confidence coming in.

Ruby #3- Corey Conners ($7100)– historical fairway hitter, won in Texas before, and hope for a hot putting week. That describes a lot of my plays this week. Conners is no different. He’s a guy you shouldn’t watch shot tracker on and just look after Friday knowing its 1 of 2 results. For me I hope it’s a good result.

Not a lot this week because well once again I HAVE NO CLUE!!!
