Happy New Year everyone! Lets start the year off right with winning lineups on Draft Kings!

QB:

Drew Brees vs MIN – 6,600

Not only is Brees amazing at home, in fact he is averaging about 28 Draft Kings points per game at home this season, but he has also been on fire lately. 15 TD passes in his past 4 games and no INT. The Vikings are not a very good team on the road this season either and they will surrender a ton of points. Brees imo will be the top scoring QB on this slate.

Josh Allen at HOU – 6,500

Allen is interesting because he has a great matchup vs this Texans team that ranks 29th in fantasy this year vs the QB position. His ability to run with the football gives him a nice safe floor every week as well. Allen really cut down on his turnovers as the season progressed, he had 9 INT during the season, but just 2 after week 5. With this being the playoffs, I feel like he will run with the ball as often has he needs to, there is no tomorrow come postseason.

RB:

Derrick Henry at NE – $8200

So NE can be run on and Henry was arguably the best RB in football this season. He was the leagues leading rusher, a TD machine, and once the calendar hits December and beyond, he seems to turn up his game even more. He might see 30 carries in this game, so as high as his price is, the volume will be there.

James White vs TEN – 5,700

He is the only trust worthy RB on this Pats teams and he is always featured in the passing game as well. He is the perfect RB2 based on price and his potential production. The Titans ranked 21st this season vs the RB and White is a proven playoff performer.

Carlos Hyde vs BUF – 5,100

Hyde isn’t flashy, but he is the lead back in Houston, the Bills can be run on and I really wouldn’t be surprised to see Hyde rack up 60-70 total yards and a TD in this matchup. He is a money saver as well, which you need on this slate if you want some of the big stars.

WR:

Michael Thomas vs MIN – 9,300

He’s insanely expensive, but if you use Drew Brees you have to use Thomas too. Thomas was the best WR in fantasy this season, he set the all time record for receptions in a season and he will be a very busy man this weekend vs the Vikings who are one of the worst ranked defenses vs the WR.

Julian Edelman vs TEN – 6,500

Edelman has always been a playoff performer, Brady doesn’t have much faith in any of his other receivers and I don’t think anyone would be surprised if Edelman saw 10 plus targets in this game. Every time he has seen double digit targets this season, he has put up double digit points, you’re gonna want that in your lineup.

Cole Beasley at HOU – 5,600

Although John Brown is the big play WR in BUF, he is more expensive than Beasley, and Beasley is actually the safer play IMO. He is a receptions first player, which is a good thing in the Draft Kings format and led this Bills team in targets this season.

TE:

Dallas Goedert vs SEA – 5,200

Ertz will play I’m sure, but he is banged up and Goedert is likely to be the main pass catcher for the Eagles. He also takes on the Seahawks who ranked 30th in the league this season vs the TE position.

Jared Cook vs MIN – 4,900

You can save 300 bucks by taking Cook over Goedert and Cook has been one of the best TE in the league since week 10. He is very consistent and seems to be the 2nd option for Brees in the passing game.
