I’m here to get you that money, so you can be thankful this week and the sharks can scratch their heads. This week, The Daily Write Up will be live today with this edition and on Wednesday as well. Tomorrow is only a 2 game slate and the rest of the week I will be away with my family celebrating Thanksgiving BUT I will be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to try and answer any lineup questions you guys may have.
With that said, we have a huge slate to get into it, Let’s get at it DFS Nation!!!

Disclaimer: Remember people, I am not a professional, just an avid NBA fan who loves the sport and loves DFS. We are betting on human beings here which is probably the hardest thing to bet on. Some days we will win. Some days we will lose. I will never argue with any member of any community about who they want to play on any given night. However, if you would like my opinion on a particular player I will gladly help you any way that I can if you ask me. My slogan is “If you like him, play him”. It’s your money and I can’t spend it for you. If I don’t get back to you right away, It’s because I am just like you and work a full time job and I do this in my down time here. I promise to get back to you. Some players who are studs I may not mention in detail here in this article but will be displayed in the “Players I like but did not mention here” portion of the write up towards the end. All stats mentioned are accurate as of today and screenshots can be provided upon request. Credit: FantasySportsDegens, Fantasy Alarm, NBA Fantasy Labs, and DFS Wolfpack.
Favorite Plays on the Slate: (In no particular order) ( PG-C positions)
Coby White (CHI) vs. POR ($5,400) PG/SG
Coby White has been up and down in his rookie year thus far. However, you cannot deny this kid’s uncanny ability to stop and pop a three pointer or his ability to get to the basket. He reminds me of a hybrid Derrick Rose/Klay Thompson type player. Tonight, White gets a great matchup at home vs the visiting Trail Blazers. The Blazers are the 4th worst team defensively against opposing point guards giving up on average 60.5 FPTs per game to the position. If White gets hot tonight against Damian Lillard, this could be a great pick for your lineups. While Lillard is an amazing talent, White is younger and more explosive and if he can limit his turnovers and take the right open shots tonight, I see no problem with White getting you 4 to 5 times value at his price on DraftKings.
Spencer Dinwiddie (BKN) @ CLE ($7,600) PG/SG
The Brooklyn Nets are 4-1 without Kyrie Irving in the lineup this season, and that’s all due to Spencer Dinwiddie stepping up and becoming the focal point of this Nets offense. In the past five games, Dinwiddie has averaged an impressive 41.25 FPTs per game while playing on average 32.5 minutes per game in that period of time. Dinwiddie may have his minutes dialed back a smidge in this contest since he played 35 minutes last night in New York, but he should still be in the 25-30 minutes range on the second leg of this back to back. The Nets need him, and he should produce a nice game tonight in Cleveland.
Malcolm Brogdon (IND) vs. MEM ($6,000) PG/SG
Guess who’s back?! Back again! Malcolm’s back! Tell a friend! Wait, no don’t tell your friends because they will tell their friends, who then will tell their friends etc, etc. All jokes aside, Malcolm Brogdon told reporters that he is feeling 100% since his back injury occurred that has kept him out of action the past few games. He’s dirt cheap, and although we don’t know if he will be on a minutes restriction his first game back, I feel confident he will at least play 25 minutes or more. Of course, be sure to check any updates on his status up until tip off today to be sure. At this price, if he plays normal minutes, He would be one of my favorite plays of the night! Memphis is a tough defensive team but can be exploited in the back court. Ja Morant will be tested all night especially if Brogdon is 100% like he claims he is. There is risk here but it wouldn’t hurt to add Brogdon into at least one of your lineups tonight. All aboard, All aboard, next stop Cash Town. Are you coming or what?
Chris Paul (OKC) @ GS ($6,900) PG
If Draymond Green is out tonight, then Chris Paul will be a player you will want to add in your lineups tonight. In the past ten days, Paul is averaging 38.8 FPTs per game on an average of 33.3 MPG. The Warriors have been playing only 8 players in their rotation due to injuries and the Thunder’s backcourt should have no problems tonight producing for your lineup. The Warriors are the 11th worst team against opposing point guards and if Draymond sits, it’s most likely game over. Paul is a sneaky good pick tonight and the price isn’t bad either for the production he’s been putting up lately.
Trae Young (ATL) vs. MIN ($9,800) PG
Trae! We good now homie! I got my $3.00 back and you went off for 64.5 FPTs vs Toronto on Saturday night and your price is the exact same as it was!! Jeff Teague is not stopping Trae Young tonight. Statistics shouldn’t have to tell you this, But Teague is a horrendous defensive player. If you are seeing stars around Teague’s head tonight, It’s only because Young will be running circles around him. Trae Young is another of one my favorite point guards on this slate tonight and you should definitely spend up to get him in this matchup. You’ll be glad you did! I got $3.00 on that!!
Andrew Wiggins (MIN) @ ATL ($7,600) SG/SF
This matchup is tasty, it’s decadent, it’s almost too good to be true, But, just like former WWE Superstar Kurt Angle used to say. “It’s True, It’s True, It’s Damn True!”. The Hawks are really banged up right now and Wiggins is back to 100%. The Wolves are also fairly banged up which will guarantee Wiggins even more minutes tonight to produce for you. I would take advantage of Wiggins while he still is in the 7k range on DraftKings especially with an easier matchup tonight. Wiggins past two matchups were against better defensive teams in the Suns and Jazz. I could see Wiggins having a very nice night in Atlanta for sure.
Joe Harris (BKN) @ CLE ($5,400) SG/SF
This could be a very sneaky low owned play for GPP’s tonight. Joe Harris as we all know can be hot and cold on any given night. Tonight, I do believe he could be in for a hot shooting night against a Cleveland team that is not very good defensively. This is more of a gut feeling than a pick I can back up with stats. But a lot of times my gut feelings are correct. It’s a low risk/high reward type of pick. If Harris gets hot, I can easily see him get 5-6 times value at his current price on DraftKings. BOOM or BUST.
Nemanja Bjelica (SAC) @ BOS ($5,600) PF
Looking for another low owned option for GPP’s tonight? Look no further than Bjelica. Boston is a great defensive team, Not so much at the power forward position though. Bjelica is a great shooter and an above average rebounder that when hot can produce a very nice night for dfs owners at his price. The Celtics (who are my favorite team lol.) give up on average 57.7 FPT’s to opposing power forwards per game, also the worst defensively at the position currently this season . This should be a slower paced game but I still see Bjelica as a weapon the Kings can use tonight to exploit Boston’s poor defense at the position. He also is a low cost option to have in your lineups to stack it with studs tonight. He also hung 39.5 FPTs on them their last outing in Sacramento a little over a week ago. Ne-Manja! Ne-Manja! Let’s eat!!!!
Anthony Davis (LAL) @ SA ($9,700) PF/C
He’s under 10k tonight. Davis has an amazing matchup in San Antonio tonight and for his price, I would choose him over Lebron James tonight for the value alone. Davis has had a day to rest and I’m sure he’s ready to take out all that stored energy on LaMarcus Aldridge tonight. Who’s your daddy?! Anthony Davis is tonight. Look for him as your centerpiece tonight. He is my favorite player on the slate tonight at this price.
Blake Griffin (DET) vs. ORL ($7,100) PF
Go ahead, laugh at me! Blake Griffin has played my heart strings like Jimi Hendrix played his guitar with his teeth. He’s had three days to rest and he’s facing an Orlando team that lost Vucevic and Aaron Gordon. At this price, I’m hoping we can see the Blake Griffin of old finally. Volatile pick here based on his previous games played, However, at this price it’s almost too good for me to back off him. The matchup is scrumptious! Dangle that cookie in front of the fat kid to see if he takes it! I’m that fat kid tonight! Give me the cookie dammit !!!!
Bam Adebayo (MIA) vs. CHA ($7,100) Center
O-M-G Becky look at her….Wait no that’s not right! Look at that price! BAM! Right in your face! BAM! Right in your lineups tonight!! BAM!! Dominating the Hornets tonight! Thank you DFS gods!! Adebayo is facing the second worst team against opposing centers tonight, The Hornets give up on average 45.2 FPTs to opposing centers currently and Adebayo is priced below 8k?? What are you guys doing reading this? Switch screens now and lock and load em’ and watch that green dot go faster than Usain Bolt in the olympics! Double Double potential for sure. Don’t tell your friends!!
Tristan Thompson (CLE) vs. BKN ($6,800) Center
One rule of thumb I always go by, Start a viable center than can produce against the Nets. Next up, Tristan Thompson. Thompson has had himself a pretty nice season thus far. He is averaging 35.2 FPT’s per game and fresh off a monster against Portland where he had 42.25 FPTs in 36 mins played. If Kevin Love sits, the offense will most likely go through Thompson in the middle. At this price, you can have yourself a low priced Center that can get you 4-5 times value for your investment. Nice pick here.
The Core 5: (These are my favorite players at every position tonight. These are not locks as I don’t believe in ever calling a player a lock. These are my favorite plays at every position and are not meant to be a method of an example lineup. The Core 5 has been a section I’ve received requests to do by our followers of the website and in the fb group I do the article for as well. Without further ado, here are my Core 5.
PG: Trae Young (ATL) vs. MIN ($9,400)
SG: Malcolm Brogdon (IND) vs. MEM ($6,000) **Can be used as PG/SG on DK/only if not on a mins restriction. If there is, I’d pivot to Dinwiddie from BKN**
SF: Andrew Wiggins (MIN) @ ATL ($7,600)

Center: Bam Adebayo (MIA) vs. CHA ($7,100)
