There’s an APB out on Trae Young as of last night. I hear he went missing. Well if anyone seems to find Mr. Young, Please let him know I want my $3.00 back for his disappearing act last night. Houdini couldn’t have done it any better! It’s ok Trae, we forgive you. Well I do, I don’t know if the DFS Nation does but that’s neither here nor there. Today is a new day and we will rule this day as we climb the summit of profit peaks tonight and take our claim to the mound of money at the top awaiting us. This is the Daily Write Up for November 23rd, 2019.

Disclaimer: Remember people, I am not a professional, just an avid NBA fan who loves the sport and loves DFS. We are betting on human beings here which is probably the hardest thing to bet on. Some days we will win. Some days we will lose.  I will never argue with any member of any community about who they want to play on any given night. However, if you would like my opinion on a particular player I will gladly help you any way that I can if you ask me. My slogan is “If you like him, play him”. It’s your money and I can’t spend it for you. If I don’t get back to you right away, It’s because I am just like you and work a full time job and I do this in my down time here. I promise to get back to you.  Some players who are studs I may not mention in detail here in this article but will be displayed in the “Players I like but did not mention here” portion of the write up towards the end. All stats mentioned are accurate as of today and screenshots can be provided upon request. Credit: FantasySportsDegens, Fantasy Alarm, NBA Fantasy Labs, and DFS Wolfpack.

Favorite Plays on the Slate:  (In no particular order) ( PG-C positions)

Eric Bledsoe (MIL) vs. DET ($7,600) PG

Bledsoe gets a tasty matchup tonight at home versus the Pistons. The Pistons as of today give up the 3rd most FPTS to opposing point guards and Bledsoe has put up some serious numbers in his past two contests. 44.75 FPTs @ ATL and 46.0 FPTs vs. POR. Bledsoe also plays much better on his home court. I guess home is where the heart is. Can you just smell the blueberry muffins baking? Mmmmm great matchup tonight. Start him with confidence.

Darius Garland (CLE) vs. POR ($3,900) PG

Have you ever missed the bus? Or possibly a train? It’s not a good feeling is it? Well that’s how I felt last night when I was off Darius Garland when he was $3,800 on DraftKings and I chose Jalen “I never show up” Brunson over him as my sleeper pick. Darius I’m sorry! You have another juicy matchup tonight against Portland at home. Can you do it again bud? If not for me, for the DFS Nation? I think you have potential to do so. Even if Lillard plays, he’s not a good defender. Garland is young and if he can play near mistake-free basketball tonight then you have a legitimate starting point guard for under $4,000. How many times could you have said that this season? This pick does not come without its risks, But remember, without risk comes no rewards. Nice little sneaky play here.

Goran Dragic (MIA) @ PHI ($5,400) PG

Dragic has had a pretty consistent year in DFS. He is averaging 29.7 FPTs per game on the year and he still has a ton left in the tank. The Sixers are 7th worst at defending the point guard position and Dragic is a low cost option here if you’re looking for a starting point guard tonight. If Dragic catches fire tonight, He has the potential to get you 5-6 times value at this price. Both teams are coming into the second leg of a back to back tonight so Dragic should see some minutes, Especially since Justise Winslow will be sitting this one out.

Ja Morant (MEM) vs. LAL ($6,700) PG

Another play who loves him some home cooking is Ja Morant. At home this season, Ja has averaged 36.4 FPTs per game. He’s young, he’s explosive, he scores, and he makes his teammates better. Ya he does makes mistakes but what rookie doesn’t?? Now the trolls out there in the universe will be saying “He’s playing the Lakers, a top 3 defense!! Are you crazy??!!” and simply I’ll say “Yes” but being crazy is not the reason why I’m confident in starting Morant tonight. The Lakers give up on average 51.1 FPTs per game to opposing point guards. This pick also doesn’t come without risk but if he sees Rajon Rondo then it’s game over! Crazy or not! I’m playing him baby!!!

Mike Conley (UTA) vs. NO ($7,200) PG

Mike Conley has been en fuego his past three games. I’m not point chasing,  But the Pelicans defense against point guards is nothing to write home about. I’m assuming Lonzo Ball who is a decent defender will still be on a minutes restriction tonight coming off injury. If Conley can stay on this hot streak he’s currently on he’s worth the risk. A little volatile pick here because of him being up and down all season but not a bad pick to put in your lineups. I like him.

Fred VanVleet (TOR) @ ATL ($7,300) PG/SG

VanVleet has scored over 30 FPTs in all but one game this season. That is impressive. Tonight his price looks great as he goes up against a banged up Hawks team. Look for VanVleet to continue his hot streak and get you to the cash tonight. Great Price, Great matchup. A fine addition to your lineup. The point spread is at 223.5 tonight so this game should be a higher paced matchup. Let the points fly Freddy!!!

Donovan Mitchell (UTA) vs. NO ($7,900) PG/SG

Hey wait a damn minute! This guy seems to make my article every day! Well, when you score 44.5 FPTs the day before and your price doesn’t rise a bit. I’m playing Mitchell again in an even tastier matchup tonight vs.New Orleans. The Pelicans give up the 5th most FPTs to opposing shooting guards so input Mitchell with confidence tonight as this should be a high scoring game.

RJ Barrett (NYK) vs. SA ($5,700) PG/SG

Barrett has shown flashes of greatness his rookie season. The thing I love about coach David Fizdale is he is not afraid to give the rookie minutes. Barrett has been a little off his past couple of games but tonight he faces a Spurs team that has lost 8 straight games. The most with coach Gregg Popovich. The Spurs are down on their luck, so Barrett should take advantage tonight in the Big Apple. The Spurs are the 6th worst team against opposing shooting guards and with Barrett’s usage and his price tag, you can start him confidently tonight.

Lebron James (LAL) @ MEM ($11,100) PG/SF

Lebron James is one player I’m willing to spend up on tonight. I’m not scared of the back to back. Lebron is an iron man. They don’t call him the King for nothing. He has a tasty matchup tonight against Memphis. The Grizzlies are a pretty good defensive team but Lebron is matchup proof. You know the stats don’t matter in this one. No brainer here folks.

Zach Lavine (CHI) vs. CHA ($6,600) PG/SG

Wocka Wocka! Wait no, don’t throw tomatoes at me like Fozzy Bear!! This is no joke folks! Now I know Lavine has ripped our hearts out in the past few matchups. Tonight however, he’s facing the Hornets who give up the 11th most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards. Listen, I get it. He’s a volatile play but he’s only $6,600 and he has to snap out of this funk sometime! I love him tonight, you may not. I’m playing him and if he takes me to cash town and you’re out there in penny parkway don’t blame me!

De’Andre Hunter (ATL) vs. TOR ($5,100) SF/PF

I think this kid finally is starting to come around. In the beginning of the season, I felt like the game was going too fast for Hunter to comprehend. However, in his past two games, he is catching on and has played very well. His past two games he is averaging 37.4 FPTs per game and has been getting 30.2 minutes per game all season. He has a great matchup tonight at home against the Raptors who gives up the 4th most FPTs to opposing small forwards (47.8 FPTs per game). If Hunter continues his hot streak, he could expose the Raptors and at this price has potential to reach 5-8 times value tonight.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) vs. DET ($12,000) SF/PF

Yes he’s high priced but sometimes you have to pay a premium price to get premium players. Giannis is having another MVP caliber season and Detroit won’t stop him. He’s only 24 years old and a back to back means nothing. If you want to spend up, do so and do so confidently tonight. There’s nothing like getting a 60-80 FPT score to set you up for the night and in my opinion, There is more value on tonight’s slate than there was last night.

Carmelo Anthony (POR) @ CLE ($5,000) SF/PF

Sean Mitchell at Fantasy Sports Degens is laughing at me while I type this. I just can’t avoid the good matchup here. I also cannot be biased here. Carmelo Anthony has an amazing matchup tonight and he’s dirt cheap. Cleveland gives up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Carmelo takes a ton of shots and if some fall, a $5,000 investment makes sense for 30 FPT plus potential. Carmelo gels with Portland because he is an isolation player on an iso team. I just can’t see Anthony not producing tonight. I never thought I’d say this, He is one of my favorite plays tonight. Ugh it hurts…

Julius Randle (NYK) vs. SA ($6,800) PF/C

The Spurs front court defensively is atrocious. Julius Randle should have no problem tonight against them. I can see a nice Randle/Barrett mini stack working out very well tonight against the Spurs. Looking at Randle’s previous games, he lights it up one night and is average the next and lights it up one night and is average the next and tonight if he follows the pattern he’s due to light it up tonight and I think he will. At his price tonight, he should have no problem seeing 5-6 times value.

LaMarcus Aldridge (SA) @ NYK ($7,200) PF/C

On the other side of the spectrum, I also really like LaMarcus Aldridge against the Knicks tonight. New York is the 8th worst team defensively against opposing power forwards. The back to back doesn’t scare me here either because he is healthy and has produced well in the first back to back he’s played in earlier this month. He should realistically reach over 30 FPTs and I wouldn’t be mad if you took a look at Trey Lyles for only $3,200 tonight as well. Pop cares about his players but he cares about winning just as much and he’s going to want to break this 8 game losing streak tonight in New York City.

Lauri Markkanen (CHI) @ CHA ($6,400) PF/C

I almost hate writing this one up as much as suggesting Melo. I have to, the matchup is too good to not mention and you all know I love exposing Charlotte’s front court limitations on defense. Markkanen has broken our hearts all year and we’re due for an early valentine’s card Lauri!! BOOM or BUST but good matchup and good price. I will be entering him in some of my lu’s today.

Pascal Siakam (TOR) @ ATL ($9,100) PF/C

The price is high, but I’m willing to pay for it. Siakam is the leader of this team and he has been filling the stat sheets night in and night out. The Hawks are not great up front and this could be a blowout.  Let’s hope it’s not so he reaches his potential and gets 4-5 times value for us tonight!

Mo Bamba (ORL) @ IND ($4,000) Center

No not La Bamba!!! It’s Mo Bamba!! And I want Mo and Mo Bamba tonight more than I ever have before! The Pacers are the fifth worst defensively against opposing centers and Vucevic is out indefinitely. My mouth is watering, I don’t know if I can speak right now…$4,000 for a starting center in this matchup!

If he’s not in at least one of your matchups tonight, well that’s ok because that means I’ll be winning the money. Wait, wait, No that’s not the right way to be. I’m not a selfish person. Go get you some Mo Bamba!! Channel your inner Ritchie Valens people!

Anthony Davis (LAL) @ MEM ($10,000) PF/C

Umm ok, so wait a minute. Davis puts up 62.25 FPTs last night and has an even better matchup tonight against Memphis and his price drops $100?? AND he has no injury designation going into this game, nor has there been any talk albeit it’s still early that he would sit this game out! Need I explain myself people, Are you not entertained??!! Wait, no I’m losing my mind over the value. No brainer! And even if you don’t have a brain like the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz, you have to start Davis! Ya have to!

UPDATE: Per Rotoworld, Davis said he will play in this game. As long as no other news comes up, he will be good to go!

Andre Drummond (DET) @ MIL ($8,300) Center

Great price here for Drummond in a good matchup. Milwaukee is generally a very good defensive team. However, they are below average against opposing centers. Drummond has been on a tear and my gut is telling me to play him tonight regardless if he’s on a back to back. He’s a great value so have confidence tonight in Drummond,

Other players I like here not mentioned:
