What’s up Degens! What’s up Wolfpack! I’ve been away for a little while, but I’m back! Work has been awfully crazy lately. In the meantime, I will be publishing articles here and there. Tonight, we have a monster 12 game slate that I must dig into to get you the players to add to your DraftKings lineups to cash in! Let’s beat those sharks tonight!

Also, for news, injury updates, and my personal gut feelings on who to play after this article is posted, Be sure to check me out on my Twitter handle.

Some days we will win. Some days we will lose.  I will never argue with any member of any community about who they want to play on any given night. Favorite Plays on the Slate:  (In no particular order) ( PG-C position)

Donovan Mitchell (UTA) @ GS ($7,800) PG/SG

Average FPTS last 5 games:   35.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  2nd worst (GS) 97.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  39.2 FPTs

Ceiling:  50.8 FPTs

Mitchell should continue to start at point guard as Conley eases his way back into the starting rotation. Mitchell has been average at best over his last five games with the exception of his 62.5 FPT explosion in New Orleans four days ago. Tonight, Mitchell faces a Warriors team that is atrocious against opposing point guards and should be in for a nice performance.

Lou Williams (LAC) @ ATL ($7,300) PG/SG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  35.4 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  3rd worst (ATL) 90.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  32.4 FPTs

Ceiling:  46.3 FPTs

I think there’s a pretty good chance Pat Beverley sits this out due to a groin injury. If this narrative plays out, then you will want Lou Williams in your lineup. If Beverley plays then fade because George could return tonight.

Kemba Walker (BOS) vs. MEM ($7,400) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  38.2 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  4th worst (MEM) 89.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  41.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  51.5 FPTs

Don’t be scared of the probable tag here, Kemba will play at the very least 30 minutes tonight against the Grizzlies. You will want players from this game, especially Kemba since the point spread is projected at 234.5. The Grizzlies are terrible against point guards and you will want to take advantage of this price for Walker. Some may be scared off due to his knee soreness, but not this guy right here, and you shouldn’t be scared either. Take advantage of this mid-tier price for premium production in this matchup.

Dejounte Murray (SA) @ NO ($5,200) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  25.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:   7th worst (NO) 82.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:   27.6 FPTs

Ceiling:  35.6 FPTs

Murray had been battling an illness his past couple games, but now he is healthy. Murray is a nice cheap point guard that should have 25-30 FPT potential against a weak Pelicans defense. He probably won’t be a homerun tonight but we need cheaper guys so we can stack studs and I think Murray is as solid a pick as any.

Tomas Satoransky (CHI) vs. MIN ($4,900) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  22.8 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  8th worst (MIN) 82.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  24.7 FPTs

Ceiling:  37.4 FPTs

Satoransky has struggled mightily over his past 7 of 8 games. But as we all know, Satoransky can go off anytime and tonight could be the perfect matchup to do so. The Wolves are not great defensively in their backcourt. He’s super cheap and all he needs is 24.5 FPTs to hit 5 times value tonight and anything extra is a bonus.

Elfrid Payton (NY) vs. LAL ($5,600) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  25.4 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  10th worst (LAL) 79.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  27.0 FPTs

Ceiling:  33.5 FPTs

Has legitimate 30 FPT potential tonight. The Lakers giving up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing point guards in their last 5 games. Nice value play.

Monte Morris (DEN) @ HOU ($4,800) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  18.9 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  11th worst (HOU) 76.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:   33.6 FPTs

Ceiling:  35.0 FPTs

Cheap punt play with potential for a nice night.

Malcolm Brogdon (IND) @ PHX ($7,100) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  34.4 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:   13th worst (PHX) 75.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:   35.8 FPTs

Ceiling:   46.7 FPTs

Solid mid-tier point guard.

D’Angelo Russell (GS) vs. UTA ($8,000) PG/SG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  44.7 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  14th worst (UTA) 75.6 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  39.7 FPTs

Ceiling:  61.4 FPTs

Lonzo Ball (NO) vs. SA ($6,800) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  43.1 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  15th worst (SA) 75.2 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  35.7 FPTs

Ceiling:  47.0 FPTs

Lonzo has been consistently good lately and is always a threat of getting a double double or a triple double each night. Solid mid-tier play.

James Harden (HOU) vs. DEN ($11,200) PG/SG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  52.8 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SG’s Last 5:  8th worst (DEN) 80.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  58.1 FPTs

Ceiling:   73.4 FPTs

Absolutely love Harden tonight at home against Denver. Gary Harris is doubtful, which should makes things even easier for Harden to control this game.

Kris Dunn (CHI) vs. MIN ($4,900) PG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  20.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  2nd worst (MIN) 88.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:   25.7 FPTs

Ceiling:   30.9 FPTs

Nice value play at SF.

Kelly Oubre (PHX) vs. IND ($7,000) SF/PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  34.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  5th worst (IND) 82.5 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:   34.1 FPTs

Ceiling:  45.8 FPTs

Gordon Hayward (BOS) vs. MEM ($5,800) SF/PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:   32.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  6th worst (MEM) 82.1 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  35.1 FPTs

Ceiling:  45.8 FPTs

Hayward is in an amazing spot tonight. He’s cheap and has a fairly high ceiling.

DeMar DeRozan (SA) @ NO ($8,200) SG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  47.2 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  11th worst (NO) 76.2 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  44.3 FPTs

Ceiling:    50.9 FPTs

DeRozan gets a nice matchup tonight. His price is a bit high but I still think he can produce nicely.

O.G. Anunoby (TOR) vs. PHI ($4,200)  SF/PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  22.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  14th worst (PHI) 74.4 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  17.2 FPTs

Ceiling:  35.7 FPTs

O.G. has been struggling lately, however he does play better at home and is averaging over 30 FPTs a game in his two previous meetings against the Sixers. Something tells me he could be sneaky tonight.

Domantas Sabonis (IND) @ PHX ($7,900) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  38.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5:  4th worst (PHX) 78.1 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  43.6 FPTs

Ceiling: 51.0 FPTs

Pascal Siakam (TOR) vs. PHI ($6,900) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  29.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5:  6th worst (PHI) 72.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  29.3 FPTs

Ceiling:  54.5 FPTs

Don’t pay attention to the projection, I think Siakam is in line for 35 FPTs or more against a banged up Sixers squad tonight at home. Solid mid-tier.

Jaren Jackson Jr. (MEM) @  BOS ($6,500) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  28.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5:  11th worst (BOS) 69.1 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  29.6 FPTs

Ceiling:  43.3 FPTs

Boston is below average against power forwards. JJJR is a solid mid tier option with a good ceiling tonight.

Jayson Tatum (BOS) vs. MEM ($7,500) PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  45.1 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5:  12th worst (MEM) 68.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  43.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  53.3 FPTs

I like Tatum on the other side of the court from JJJR. Has more upside I feel.

Meyers Leonard (MIA) vs. WAS ($4.000) PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  18.7 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5:  13th worst (WAS) 67.9 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  24.0 FPTs

Ceiling:  25.5 FPTs

A good punt at PF, nothing more. Nothing less.

Julius Randle (NY) vs. LAL ($7,600) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  41.7 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5:   15th worst (LAL) 64.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  40.8 FPTs

Ceiling:  49.0 FPTs

Rudy Gobert (UTA) @ GS ($8,500) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  50.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers  Last 5: Worst (GS) 93.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  44.4 FPTs

Ceiling:  49.7 FPTs

Excellent matchup. Priced well. Should produce very nicely for us.

Ivica Zubac (LAC) or Montrezl Harrell @ ATL ($4,100) ($6,800) Center

No stats here, Choose your player. Atlanta sucks against centers. It’s all on who you want to spend your money on. Zubac is a point per minute monster but Harrell has more upside fantasy point wise.

Bam Adebayo (MIA) vs. WAS ($8,400) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  41.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  3rd worst (WAS) 73.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  44.9 FPTs

Ceiling:   53.7 FPTs

BAM! BAM!!! Great spend up option at center. Washington has no identity in their front court. Expose them.

Marvin Bagley (SAC) @ DET ($6,500) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  29.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  7th worst (DET) 69.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  37.1 FPTs

Ceiling: 39.8 FPTs

LaMarcus Aldridge (SA) @ NO ($6,800) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  31.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  9th worst (NO) 67.6 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  40.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  51.3 FPTs

Aldridge is due for a big game, could this be it? He’s priced well enough to take a shot on.

Jonas Valancunias (MEM) @ BOS ($6,700) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  42.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  11th worst (BOS) 65.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  34.8 FPTs

Ceiling:  48.1 FPTs

Clint Capela (HOU) vs. DEN ($7,500) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  32.9 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  12th worst (DEN)  64.2 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  34.3 FPTs

Ceiling:  49.5 FPTs

Karl Anthony Towns (MIN) @ CHI ($10,400) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  43.9 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5: 3rd best (CHI) 49.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  51.8 FPTs

Ceiling:  67.1 FPTs

I don’t care how good the Bulls have become against centers their past 5 games, Luke Kornet is NOT stopping KAT tonight. Love him.

Listen before you crucify me because I didn’t add James, Davis, Kawhi, or Westbrook to this list is because I personally felt they were too expensive and that other players offered more value and didn’t handcuff my lineup choices. You may feel different and I won’t argue with you.

The Core 5:   (These are my favorite players at every position tonight. These are not locks as I don’t believe in ever calling a player a lock. These are my favorite plays at every position and are not meant to be a method of an example lineup. The Core 5 has been a section I’ve received requests to do by our followers of the website and in the fb group I do the article for as well. Without further ado, here are my Core 5.
