If anyone sees Khris Middleton, let him know I’m looking for him! I gave you the cover of my article Khris and you did me dirty!! Well enough of last night. I came out with a cool $23, Pizzas on me! There’s a huge 10 game slate and I’m going to break it down for you tonight! Here’s a big tip for you DFS newbies out there, cancel out the noise! If you hear 100 people saying to play Elie Okobo for the sole reason Rubio is out, then you’re hurting yourself more than helping yourself. Find the value! I get it, it was a good matchup. But you have a guy who hasn’t played more than 20 minutes in a game in a long time and he didn’t score over 20 FPTs since 12/21 and you basically are out here calling him a lock! C’mon man!!! Don’t follow the sheep! Be your own person, do your research, and of course, Read Break’n Slates!!!!!

Let’s get this moneyyyyy!!!!!!

Favorite Plays on the Slate:  (In no particular order) ( PG-C position)

Kemba Walker (BOS) vs. DET ($7,200) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  32.1 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  Worst (DET) 99.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  35.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  51.3

Kemba has struggled as of late, but Detroit is extremely bad against point guards right now. Walker could have a nice breakout game at home tonight.

Malcolm Brogdon (IND) @ MIN ($6,700) PG/SG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  27.9 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5: 3rd worst (MIN) 96.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  35.4 FPTs

Ceiling:  47.0 FPTs

Brodgon is healthy again, and his matchup tonight is too against a Timberwolves defense that is 3rd worst against opposing point guards. Brogdon could be overlooked by many tonight. Don’t be one of them.

Damian Lillard (POR) @ HOU ($9,000) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  45.7 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  4th worst (HOU) 94.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  49.8 FPTs

Ceiling:  60.8 FPTs

I don’t love Dame’s price but I do love the matchup. This game has a 236 point spread, so you will want to target players from this game. Lillard may be expensive but he has a high ceiling.

Kyrie Irving (BKN) @ PHI ($7,900) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:   40.9 FPTs (47.6 avg last two games since returning from injury)

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  6th worst (PHI) 90.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  34.2 FPTs

Ceiling: 62.8 FPTs

Listen, I know he’s on a back to back and I know he just returned from injury. I’m not going to look past him anymore though, The Nets use Irving a bunch. He played 32 minutes last night so he may be in for a smaller role tonight so he’s a bit boom or bust. I will enter him in a line-up tonight because he’s cheap and I have a feeling the Nets are going to play hard tonight against the 76ers.

Devonte’ Graham (CHA) @ DEN ($7,300) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  35.1 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  10th worst (DEN) 87.4 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  34.4 FPTs

Ceiling:  50.8 FPTs

Denver is never an easy place to play. Graham has potential for a good night tonight. If Trae Young can come into Denver and drop 60 FPTs on them, why couldn’t Graham hit 5-6 times value at this price, albeit in a slower paced matchup. Remember people, just because it’s slow paced game, It doesn’t mean players don’t score. He could be low owned and sneaky tonight. Graham has a nice ceiling.

De’Aaron Fox (SAC) vs. DAL ($8,000) PG

Average FPTS last 5 games: 45.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  11th worst (DAL) 87.1 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight: 43.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  49.1 FPTs

Fox has been on a tear as of late, He has a great matchup tonight at home versus the Mavs. Fox also plays better at home this season averaging 7.5 more FPTs as opposed to on the road. He’s worth the spend up tonight.

Shabazz Napier (MIN) vs. IND ($4,900) PG/SG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  21.8 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:  13th worst (IND) 86.6 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  20.4 FPTs

Ceiling:  32.2 FPTs

Every player goes through struggles. Do you want to play Napier tonight when he very well could snap out of it tonight? I do and he’s dirt cheap so you can stack studs on a large slate like this.

LeBron James (LAL) vs. ORL ($10,400) PG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  56.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PG’s Last 5:   8th best (ORL) 73.0 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  51.6 FPTs

Ceiling:  74.2 FPTs

It’s not the greatest matchup since the Magic are a good defensive team, I’m not going to look past the fact that the last time LeBron played the Magic he dropped 59.8 FPTs on them. I just can’t realistically tell anyone to fade James at this price. He should be in for a good night regardless of matchup. He is the King after all.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (DAL) @ SAC ($5,200) SG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  26.7 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SG’s Last 5:  2nd worst (SAC) 106.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight: 24.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  35.9 FPTs

Hardaway has a nice matchup against the second worst team against opposing shooting guards in the Kings. He carries a low price and should see 5 times value tonight with potential for more.

Josh Richardson (PHI) vs. BKN ($6,400) SG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  29.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SG’s Last 5:  3rd worst (BKN) 104.4 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  31.0 FPTs

Ceiling:  36.1 FPTs

Brooklyn is vulnerable against opposing shooting guards. Josh Richardson needs his shot to fall tonight at home and if it does, you may have a nice mid-tier shooting guard on your hands.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC) vs. TOR ($7,400) PG/SG

Average FPTS last 5 games:  39.1 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SG’s Last 5: 4th worst (TOR) 95.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight: 31.8 FPTs

Ceiling:  50.5 FPTs

Who wants to bank on a kid who just came off an unbelievable triple double and whom is facing a Toronto team that has a gaping hole defensively at shooting guard with no Fred VanVleet? Show of hands. Good me too.

Jeremy Lamb (IND) @ MIN ($4,600) SG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  20.7 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SG’s Last 5:  7th worst (MIN) 91.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  24.0 FPTs

Ceiling:  35.7 FPTs

Relax trolls, Lamb played the Sixers, Bulls, and the Heat his past three games. Three teams that are decent against opposing guards and he was off with his shot. Tonight, he gets a plus matchup against a Wolves team that couldn’t spell “Defense” if you showed them a flash card five minutes earlier. He’s a cheap flier to stack studs on your team that comes with 30 FPT potential. That’s what we need.

Jimmy Butler (MIA) vs. SA ($8,600) SG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  44.2 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SG’s Last 5:  18th worst (SA)  82.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  41.0 FPTs

Ceiling:  56.1 FPTs

Bryn Forbes will not stand a chance trying to guard Jimmy B at home tonight. Great spend up at shooting guard tonight.

Harrison Barnes (SAC) vs. DAL ($4,900) SF/PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  23.4 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5: 3rd worst (DAL) 101.5 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  26.4 FPTs

Ceiling:  33.5 FPTs

Barnes hasn’t been lights out this season, but tonight he has a good matchup versus the Mavs whom are 3rd worst against opposing small forwards in their last 5 games. Barnes put up almost 30 FPTs their last meeting and his price is hard to pass up at under 5k tonight on DraftKings.

Duncan Robinson (MIA) vs. SA ($4,300) SG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  19.2 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5: 6th worst (SA) 97.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  21.1 FPTs

Ceiling:  35.5 FPTs

Another cheap flier at small forward tonight in an excellent matchup with a good ceiling.

Kent Bazemore (POR) @ HOU ($4,000) SG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  16.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  9th worst (HOU) 94.9 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:   27.4 FPTs

Ceiling:  29.8 FPTs

Cheap flier, doesn’t see a ton of usage but did put up a respectable 28.5 FPTs against the Rockets their last meeting. He’s only $4,000 but has legitimate 20-25 FPT upside.

DeMar DeRozan (SA) @ MIA ($7,900) SG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  45.8 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5: 11th worst (MIA) 91.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  37.7 FPTs

Ceiling: 50.5 FPTs

Some will be cautious because it’s Miami and they’re generally a good defensive team but not against small forwards in their past 5 games. DeRozan has been hot lately and he also fares much better on the road this season averaging 4.3 more FPTs away as opposed to playing at home.

Will Barton (DEN) vs. CHA ($7,000) PG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  32.2 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  12th worst (CHA) 91.2 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  31.0 FPTs

Ceiling:  42.8 FPTs

He’s a little more expensive than I like but I cannot deny a good matchup when I see one. If he gets going in a hurry, the Hornets may have trouble stopping Barton tonight.

O.G. Anunoby (TOR) @ OKC ($4,600) SF/PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  23.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  14th worst (OKC) 90.1 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  21.3 FPTs

Ceiling:  35.7 FPTs

Anunoby hasn’t been great lately, and Siakam is back but Anunoby has a good matchup tonight and is a low risk/high reward caliber player tonight in my opinion. Nice value play at SF

Kris Dunn (CHI) vs. WAS ($5,100) PG/SF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  21.2 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5: 15th worst (WAS) 87.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  28.8 FPTs

Ceiling:  30.9 FPTs

Dunn is a sneaky good play tonight against the Wizards. He dropped 30.3 FPTs on them their last meeting and the way the Wizards play defense, it could definitely happen again tonight. This is a big slate, you will need players at this price who can get you 30 plus potential.

Tobias Harris (PHI) vs. BKN ($6,900) SF/PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  34.3 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing SF’s Last 5:  16th worst (BKN) 87.0 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  35.7 FPTs

Ceiling:  44.7 FPTs

Tobias is in a great spot at home against the Nets.

P.J. Washington (CHA) @ DEN ($5,700) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  27.0 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5: 6th worst (DEN) 88.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  25.3 FPTs

Ceiling:  37.4 FPTs

No Millsap, makes me want to play P.J. Washington tonight. He has a nice ceiling and he’s only going to get better as the season progresses and especially in easier matchups. If Millsap was back, I’d be leary but I don’t fear Jerami Grant.

Anthony Davis (LAL) vs. ORL ($10,000) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:   51.2 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5:  8th worst (ORL) 82.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  53.2 FPTs

Ceiling:  64.6 FPTs

Keep an eye out on injury reports but Davis participated in shootarounds Tuesday. He should play. I don’t really know if he will be on a minute restriction but I don’t really trust those narratives much. If he gets the green light, he’s in a great spot tonight.

Carmelo Anthony (POR) @ HOU ($6,200) SF/PF

Average FPTS last 5 games:  29.4 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5:  13th worst (HOU) 72.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight: 31.2 FPTs

Ceiling:  38.0 FPTs

Revenge narrative? Melo wants to get back at D’Antoni? Call it what you want. I’ll just say it’s a good matchup in a high paced game and Melo may feel a certain way and he’s cheap enough where you can add him into your lineup to see if he does.

Lauri Markkanen (CHI) vs. WAS ($6,400) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  26.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing PF’s Last 5: 18th worst (WAS) 66.6 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  34.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  45.8 FPTs

Markkanen is a little banged but I still think he can have a productive night for us at this price. Washington generally is poor against power forwards but they’ve been better. Markkanen most likely will be low owned but could be sneaky good tonight.

Enes Kanter (BOS) vs. DET ($5,700) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  26.7 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  Worst (DET) 104.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  33.0 FPTs

Ceiling:  36.2 FPTs

Pistons are atrocious against opposing centers and even if Theis is available to play, I still think Kanter gets the majority of minutes at center tonight for the Celtics. Great price and even better matchup for Kanter.

LaMarcus Aldridge (SA) @ MIA ($7,100) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games:  31.9 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  6th worst (MIA) 71.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  36.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  51.5 FPTs

Aldridge has been up and down recently but he has a good matchup against Miami tonight where he could bounce back.

Clint Capela (HOU) vs. POR ($8,100) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  43.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  9th worst (POR) 69.7 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  41.1 FPTs

Ceiling:  49.8 FPTs

Capela should have no problem tonight producing well against Portland even on a back to back. He dropped 58 FPTs on Portland their last meeting. Nice spend up at center.

Bam Adebayo (MIA) vs. SA ($8,300) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games: 37.3 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  10th worst (SA) 68.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  40.3 FPTs

Ceiling: 53.4 FPTs

Hassan Whiteside (POR) @ HOU ($8,200) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  45.5 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  12th worst (HOU) 68.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  41.6 FPTs

Ceiling:   52.3 FPTs

Even though I personally like Capela better, I cannot say I don’t like Whiteside almost as much.

Jarrett Allen (BKN) @ PHI ($5,600) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  24.9 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  15th worst (PHI) 65.8 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  26.5 FPTs

Ceiling:  45.9 FPTs

Allen could have a bounce back game tonight against a Sixers team with no Embiid.

Al Horford (PHI) vs. BKN ($6,700) PF/C

Average FPTS last 5 games: 31.4 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  16th worst (BKN) 64.3 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:   34.4 FPTs

Ceiling:  41.2 FPTs

Not my favorite center tonight but Horford will see the minutes and could have a nice night.

Nikola Jokic (DEN) vs. CHA ($10,100) Center

Average FPTS last 5 games:  51.8 FPTs

Opponent vs opposing Centers Last 5:  17th worst (CHA) 64.2 avg per game.

Projected FPTs tonight:  49.9 FPTs

Ceiling:  58.7 FPTs

Could be overlooked tonight and I don’t care what the stats say, the Hornets stink against centers. As long as Jokic doesn’t wolf down a dozen donuts before this game, he should have a great night.

I’m not playing Harden or Doncic tonight. It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t. I just don’t think they have a ton of value for their prices tonight. You may think I’m crazy, that’s ok too. Do you boo-boo!

The Core 5:   (These are my favorite players at every position tonight. These are not locks as I don’t believe in ever calling a player a lock. These are my favorite plays at every position and are not meant to be a method of an example lineup. The Core 5 has been a section I’ve received requests to do by our followers of the website and in the fb group I do the article for as well. Without further ado, here are my Core 5.

PG:  Damian Lillard (POR) @ HOU ($9,000) PG

SG:  Jimmy Butler (MIA) vs. SA ($8,600) SG/SF

SF:   DeMar DeRozan (SA) @ MIA ($7,900) SG/SF

PF:    Anthony Davis (LAL) vs. ORL ($10,000) PF/C

Center:  Clint Capela (HOU) vs. POR ($8,200) Center

Thank you all for reading and good luck tonight!!!
