Welcome Degens, we head to the Daytona Road course, no history, no practice, no qualifying what could go wrong going to keep this simple as it’s a road course and salaries won’t mean a ton as we want finishing positions.  We will base things off the last 6 road course races.  Give me a follow on Twitter @radjer_DFS

Let’s dive into Saturday’s race, as always all data points are from the last 6 races unless noted.

Drivers I like:

Ryan Blaney (27): Offers tons of PD and has a win at the Charlotte Roval in 2018, I wouldn’t play him if he wasn’t starting 27th.  But love his upside

Chase Elliott (7): is one of the road course studs has 3 wins in the last 6 and averaging 49.67 DK points won the Roval from 19th last year even after wrecking going into one.  Lock and load.

MTJ (3): along with chase is the road course guru 2 wins in the last 6 should have been 3.  Best avg finish and DK avg of everyone in the field 4.5 and 56.33.. Lock and Load MTJ

These 3 will be my core drivers I will load up on the following as well

Kyle Busch (4): ran the 24 hour race this year and chase pointed to him as a possible contender

Clint Bowyer (12): has run well at road courses in the past

William Byron (13): offers some PD up[side and showed us some good skill at the roval last year leading some laps

Kurt Busch (8): has run here before

Alex Bowman (27): finished second at the roval, and great upside, my favorite play in this range

Jimmie Johnson (11): showed us he can run well at the roval

Matt DiBenedetto (9): solid road course racer

The other plays I Like

Cole Custer (26): has run hear before and can go for the win with no risk cause he’s locked into the playoffs

Brendan Gaughan (39): starts dead last 0 risk

Michael McDowell (30): my favorite play in this range, good road course racer

Chris Buescher (21): finally offers something to work with

Ricky Stenhouse Jr (25): Runs well on the oval at Daytona, pivot play

JHN

The Punts

Ryan Preece (22): prefer the other two

Stanton Barrett (34): High Ceiling

James Davison (38): high ceiling minimal risk
