Welcome Degens, we head back to the Ovals after our one week stay at the road course.  We go to Dover this weekend for a double header, high banking concrete 1 mile track.  This place can be a beast with the high banking it can clean itself and we have seen it hard to pass in years past.  We will dive into the tiers with no practice or qualifying I will go off the last 6 races here at Dover.  Give me a follow on Twitter @radjer_DFS

Let’s dive into Saturday’s race, as always all data points are from the last 6 races unless noted.  There’s not a ton of value today as the new procedures are based on finishing position and some of our value is starting higher than we would like given the previous race was a road course.

10k and above:

Chase Elliott (1): Starting on the pole and has run really well at Bristol, this track is like a big Bristol.  He won the all-star race there and led laps and wrecked battling Logano for the lead.  He’s led 294 laps here last 6 races 3rd most.  I expect to see him lead laps and compete for the win.  Avg finish here of 10.5 and 54.5 DK avg.

MTJ (3): Had the car to beat last week along with Chase, this is considered a home town type track for MTJ he’s from near by NJ.  Has 1 win here and 5 top 4 finishes.  He’s led 300 laps here and has an avg finish of 4.83 and 73.75 Dk avg rank 1st and 2nd respectively I expect him to be battling all day for the win.  Last year won after starting dead last for inspection failures.

Kevin Harvick (10):  Been the dominant car since the restart and starts 10th so gives us some PD points as well.  Has 1 win here last 6 and 6.83 avg finish and 87.42 Dk avg. Hard not to put him in the lineups today given recent success.

*Ryan Blaney starting 20th will be popular today given his PD upside, however he has never led a lap here in the last 6 and his avg finish is 20.67.  Not sure I can pull the trigger if running one line.

This range is blah IMO, but here we go.

Austin Dillon (32): Will be the chalk today with the new starting order procedures after missing last week.  Has an avg finish here of 16.33 and 33.17 DK avg over the last six and has been running well since the restart.

Jimmie Johnson (6): Can’t talk about Dover without bringing up this man.  He’s won here the most of anyone 11 times.  He needs a win to make the playoffs in his final year so what better place to do it than here last won here in 2017.

Christopher Bell (18):

Cole Custer (21):

Tyler Reddick (16):

Love the three rookies if I had to put them in order it would be Reddick, Custer, Bell.  This track fits the driving style of Custer and Reddick.  They like the high banking and fast tracks.  I expect these guys to compete for top 10s today

6k and below:

This range doesn’t have a ton of value today

Corey Lajoie  (29): he will be the popular punt today IMO, and he just announced he’s looking to improve his ride for next year so he will want to put a good showing on for those potential rides.

Ty Dillon (25): Seems to be a solid choice at a track where people will get lapped quick may be able to be the first car one lap down for a while and hold some position.

I have a solid core in mind come join the Slack chat and find out who we will be targeting with some high ownership.
