Week 2 of the Hawaii swing kicks off Thursday at Waialae Country Club. Our first full field event of 2022 with a 36-hole cut will be sure to lead to some good sweats. Many who played last week have made the trip to Honolulu and will be the primary focus of our card this week. Let’s get into it and bounce back in proper fashion.
We sit with a loss of $231 to start the 2022 season.
Sungjae Im ($25 to win $350): Love Sungjae this week after a nice showing last week…3/3 in made cuts here, just hope his finish is better than previous 3.
Talor Gooch ($25 to win $625): LATE ADD….SEE H2H PLAYS
Kevin Kisner ($25 to win $750): After the National Title win you have to throw a DAWG in here to win…Gimmie Kis on a track he can win on.
Billy Horschel ($25 to win $875): Played well at times last week. Another course that should fit him. Like Billy Ho here!
Cameron Davis ($25 to win $1,250): This kid can go low! Now that he’s won on TOUR I expect another win or two this year…Why not at SONY?
Marc Leishman ($25 to win $56): Really wanted to bet him to win this week….Just missed the card.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout ($25 to win $137): Lot of talk about CB this week, rightfully so.
Joel Dahmen ($25 to win $150): Like Joel to Top 10 here.
Keith Mitchell ($25 to win $175): Another DAWG to help bring home some bacon this week.
Stewart Cink ($25 to win $187): Great course fit here! Stewie can contend for a W too.
MATSUYAMA v Ancer ($40 to win $33): Matsu course history is much better….I’ll take Hideki.
LEISHMAN -1.5 v Ancer ($33 to win $36): Probably picking on Ancer too much…Hope it doesn’t bite us.
GOOCH v Conners ($35 to win $33): Really wanted to bet Gooch to win, just couldn’t fit on the card. Damn, now I talked myself into betting him!
KISNER v Henley ($33 to win $42): DAWG v DAWG here….I know Russell’s success here, but love Kis!
First Round Leader:
Cam Smith ($25 to win $625): Riding the hot hand for round 1
Sungjae Im ($25 to win $750): A wire to wire W would be handsome!
Talor Gooch ($25 to win $1,125): Pretty exposed here!
Seamus Power ($25 to win $1,250): Would love to see a 59 from SEAMUS
