WGC at Concession will be a lot of fun as I’ve had the opportunity to play the course, although I’ll miss WGC Mexico as watching Club de Golf Chapultepec each year was a lot of fun.  Let’s hope we get back on track with an outright this week.  We won a little last week, but a Finau W would have been a great hit!

We came into Genesis up $3,033 and won $63 last week.  If you tailed all my plays since TOC, you have paid your rent in San Francisco on a 1,500 sq. foot apartment for January and some of February….

2021 TOTAL:  +$3,096…..It should be fun to watch a no-cut event this week.  Let’s hope the DEGUNITY has a nice flow of cash come the weekend.

Outright Bets:

Brooks Koepka ($25 to win $625):  This number is insane for a guy who won a couple of weeks ago.  Have to feel BK might feel disrespected.  I expect him to play well in Florida and know this course is suited for his game.

Webb Simpson ($25 to win $750):  When par is a premium, you’ve got to like Webb’s chances.  The course length shouldn’t hurt Webb as he can make up for it with his ARG game and putting.  Fully expect Webb to play well this week.

Patrick Reed ($25 to win $750):  Another number is too high for a guy who can win every week he tees it up.  He’s like Koepka here, and I think he’ll be eager to get back in the mix late Sunday.

Collin Morikawa ($25 to win $750):  His putter is concerning, but his ball-striking is superb.  If the winning score isn’t crazy low, he can contend if the winning score gets into the upper teens or twenty’s, then I’m not in love with this play.

Justin Rose ($25 to win $1,375):  A lot of Twitter jumped on Rose early and with good reason.  A nice finish at Saudi and a guy who lives in Florida who plays well at comp courses.  Too big of a number to ignore here.

Top 10:

Collin Morikawa ($25 to win $56):  Double dipping on Morikawa….

Matthew Fitzpatrick ($25 to win $75): I hope he can replicate his Saturday round at the RIV.

Sergio Garcia ($25 to win $81):  Couldn’t putt at Riviera, but his T2G and ball striking were Sergioesque…..

Louis Oosthuizen ($25 to win $81): I hope he packed his TEMPUR PEDIC

Ryan Palmer ($25 to win $81):  Why not?

Head 2 Head:

DUSTIN JOHNSON -1.5 ($40 to win $40) vs. Xander Schauffele:  Just need DJ to care for four days.

BROOKS KOEPKA ($40 to win $50) vs. Bryson DeChambeau:  Love BK to win this week.  BAD isn’t in great form.  Like this play.

JUSTIN ROSE ($40 to win $46) vs. Tommy Fleetwood:  Rosie winning would make me happy.  Rosie beating Fleets is fine too.

First Round Leader (FRL):

Justin Thomas ($25 to win $563):  Not in great form, but expect him to come out firing Thursday.

Daniel Berger ($25 to win $688):  A welcome back FRL would be SWEET for DB

Brooks Koepka ($25 to win $688):  All in on BK this week.

Joaquin Niemann ($25 to win $938):  JACO can take it deep….Let’s GO LOW Thursday!

Matthew Fitzpatrick ($25 to win $1,000):  BIG number, too hard to ignore.
