What a wild weekend at the API. Carnage all over the golf course while Bryson puts on a driving display on his way to the victory. There was some surprise missed cuts and some surprise overall performances. It was a fun week, but we move on to the unofficial 5th major, THE PLAYERS. We have a field of 154 teeing it up at TPC Sawgrass with T65 and ties making it to the weekend. 55 of the Top 60 in the world will play this week as a part of this loaded field. It should be another fun week on tour, so let’s see who the guys like at this week’s PGA Tour action with the weekly PGA OAD picks.

Bubba (@bdentrek) – Tommy Fleetwood

What a hard way to get my first missed cut of the year last week with Moli completely combusting all over Bay Hill. He came in with excellent course history, but no one would believe that after his performance on Thursday and Friday. What’s done is done, and we move on, and it looks like I will be taking on some of the chalk this week, but it’s hard not to when it comes to Tommy Fleetwood. Fleets comes in playing strong golf, including a T10 at the API. He has made six straight made cuts over the last three months, including three Top 10 finishes. He tees it up at TPC Sawgrass, where he has made three straight made cuts and has improved each time out, finishing 7th and 5th the last two years. Let’s go, TOMMY!!!! Breakthrough and get the WIN!!!!!

Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Patrick Cantlay

Well, another week and another lackluster finish.  I keep banking cuts and money, but it’s difficult to make up ground when my dudes are min cashing.  This week we are at The Players Championship.  Traditionally, this is the best field of the year and a massive pot, so it’s time to use some elite players.  I will be using Patrick Cantlay.  I was going to use him at the WGC, but he WD, thankfully, before the tourney started.   He finished inside the top 25 two years in a row before his 2019 missed cut.  He is playing great, and I think in line for a big weekend.  Best of luck!

Ruvy (@MichaelRuvolo) – Webb Simpson

Well, Sungjae started hot but faltered on the weekend at the API. Still, T21 isn’t horrible, and it’s more points. This week I am emphasizing course history. I’m going with a former winner and a historically excellent player at TPC Sawgrass. Webb Simpson for two players championships is what I’m going with. He finished 6th at the Workday and didn’t gain any putting. He is a very good putter on Bermuda, and yes, I’m classifying these as Bermuda greens. Give me Webb for One and Done this week!

Rob (@ALLDayEvery365) – Jon Rahm

Matty Fitz hung around all weekend and just couldn’t stop making bogeys after making a ton of birdies, leading the field in the fourth round with the most birdies or better. Alas, it’s the tournament that started last year’s hell at TPC Sawgrass. The monstrous purse means no holding back with big names, and that’s why I’m going with Jon Rahm. The Spaniard finished 12th in ’19 and showed massive improvement on the greens from his previous two appearances. He’s a monster off the tee still, and his approach game has gotten him to fourth overall T2G. I think he’ll be ulto-popular at the U.S. Open at Torrey, but that one feels like a crapshoot, so I’m going to hope he’s low-owned and finds a win this week.

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Webb Simpson

Really looking forward to The PLAYERS!  I’m going Webb this week.  Nice CH and form is solid.  Really could use a win from Webber this week.
