Congrats to K.H. Lee for winning the pitch and putt in Dallas. Overall a fun week, but a birdie fest can always be tilting, especially when the cut line is -6. Pretty sure that will not happen this week as we head to another major, to the PGA Championship. It is going to be a heck of a test this week with the longest course in major history (over 7800 yards), and wind should be a major factor as well. It is testing the best of the best on tour. The field is 156, but this week it is back to T70 and ties making the cut. The payday is significant for the PGA Championship, so there could be some moving and shaking this week. Let’s see who the guys like with the weekly PGA OAD picks.

Ruvy (@MichaelRuvolo) – Keegan Bradley

Well, it’s been quite a bad stretch for made cuts, even with this one-and-done selection. I’m going to go with a long shot this week to see how it goes to maybe make up some ground. I’m going with a former PGA champion. Keegan Bradley. He’s been playing exceptionally well as of late and finished 3rd the last time the PGA Championship was hosted at Kiawah Island. How many putts is he going to miss this week? We will see!

Rob (@AllDayEvery365) – Rory McIlroy

A farce of a tourney at the Byron Nelson with Scheduled playing well but not boat racing. Simple here, Rory’s back. Sign me up, ball striking, putting, and a return to his original PGA win. Enjoy Kiawah!

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Viktor Hovland

The PGA at Kiawah will be a lot of fun to watch and surely will be a great test.  I’ve burned Rory, or I’d take him here.  Like DJ a little, but his form pulls me off.  Rahm is in play, but the guy can’t seem to close. Vik Hov is so solid and might be primed to win.   Gimmie Vik this week.   He might miss some greens, but his long iron game should help in the end.   Hov to hoist the Wanamaker!!!!!

Jesse (@DSFGolfGods) – Rory McIlroy

It’s a Major week, so it’s time to fire off some of the elite players.  I am going with Rory McIlroy.  He figured it out at Wells Fargo and won the PGA Championship at this course back in 2012 by a million.  Best of luck this week!

Bubba (@bdentrek) – Xander Schauffele

X gonna give it to you this week. Well, that’s what I am shooting for. We have made it to another major, and that means a loaded field, something Xander has faired very well in during his career. X has not won the big one yet, but can get the big finish and eventually crack the winning code. He comes in playing good golf with a 14 at the Wells Fargo and a solid 3rd place finishes at the Masters. Two long courses and two rather loaded fields. Let’s get this one for the Degunity and, more importantly, for Bagels’ fans everywhere.
