Another first-time winner this past week at the Rocket Mortgage. Congrats to Cam Davis. It wasn’t the strongest of fields, but still some great golf and some more OAD goodness. Now the tour heads to the unofficial 5th major, the John Deere Classic. It will be one of the weakest fields on tour but will still have a winner, making OAD still a must-play for the week. It will be interesting to see what golfers the guys take chances on as they wait for the British Open next week. See who the guys like with the weekly PGA OAD picks.

Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Beau Hossler

Bryson obviously had his mind on this big match against Phil and got me a solid missed cut.  This week’s field is maybe the worst of the year.  I’m going with Beau Hossler.  He has three straight top 25s and finished 26th here in his lone appearance in 2019. I just think it’s a good week to take a long shot.  Best of luck!

Bubba (@bdentrek) – Daniel Berger

After back-to-back winners, I got another strong finish this past week from Jason Kokrak. Now we head to an event where I can take some gambles or eat the chalk and hope for the big payday. I narrowed it down to Brian Harman and Daniel Berger and decided to go Berger. He is coming off a 7th at the US Open and a 20th at the Charles Schwab. He made two straight cuts at the Deere with a 5th back in 2017. So let’s go, Berger, get that chalky W this week.

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Daniel Berger

We’re a week away from my favorite major to watch…The Open!  The Deere is just that, WIDE open. Gimmie a guy who can win anytime he tees it up—Berger for the W.

Ruvy (@MichaelRuvolo) – Maverick McNealy

Well, Wolff was a mega bust after his start. Oh well, onto this week. I’m going with a good wedge player who can be an elite putter. I’m going with Maverick McNealy. He gained on approach last week in Detroit. If he has a very good putting week, I think he will be in contention in this week’s field.

Rob (@AllDayEvery365) – Charley Hoffman

Kokrak’s Sunday push wasn’t enough, but it was a solid ROI. Hoffman is this week’s pick. He hasn’t had the best success here but a limited field combined with his current form makes him so attractive option.
