Well, Bryson did it last week at the Rocket Mortgage. He bombed his way to an impressive victory. Along the way, we saw Matthew Wolff play great, coming up just short but helping Ruvy get a big push along the way. Rob had another strong week with Hatton and now takes the lead in the group. This week, we get the first of 2 straight events at Jack’s Place. It is a good field, not as loaded as next week will be, but still very strong. Let’s see who the guys like with the 2020 Workday Charity Classic PGA OAD Picks.

Ruvy (@MichaelRuvolo) – Justin Rose

Well, we almost pulled it off last week with the dart of Matthew Wolff. Second place isn’t bad but it would have been cool to be 1 of 12 people with Wolff for OAD. This week I thought about taking another long shot flyer but this field is better. I’m instead going to go with a former world #1. Justin Rose. Might be popular for the people who haven’t used him, but I like his course history and his game right now. He didn’t play great at the Travelers, but he enjoys Muirfield Village much more. I like Rose to be in the hunt on Sunday and he will be my One and Done for the week.

Bubba (@bdentrek) – Hideki Matsuyama

The Hidekibot came out strong last week, fading a bit on Sunday and finishing 21st. He is one of the best ball strikers on tour and that is needed in a big way here. With the course playing a little softer this week, finding the fairway matched up with Hideki’s strong approach game should result in some nice birdie chances. It also does not hurt that Hideki has played well here, making 5 of 6 cuts, 3 in a row, including a win/5th/6th in the mix.

Week 1 of 2 @ Jack’s place. This should be a lot of fun to see how many play over the course of 2 straight weeks and how the course changes.  Course history guys seem to really like this!

Reed burned me last week with an MC. My bullets lately have been duds.  I’ll fire again this week with Hideki.  A good week at Rocket Mortgage and tremendous course history here.  Hideki for the WIN…

I’ll save Cantlay, Kuchar, Rose for next week.

Best run of his career heading into a ball-strikers paradise where it just takes a hot putter. Rinse and repeat.
