Marty Party Laird got it done last week at the Shriners, grabbing his first win in a few years. It was a wild birdie fest and I am glad it is over. This week, the tour stays in Vegas and heads to the exclusive Shadow Creek. It is a beautiful course and should make for a great viewing experience. The best of the best are here, well except DJ and Bryson, and should result in some great golf. It is a 78 player field and a no-cut event so you will get all four rounds unless your player withdrawals. Let’s see who the guys like this week with the weekly PGA OAD Picks.

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Xander Schauffele
No cut event, no problem. I don’t have many big names left, and I’ve saved Rory for ANGC. For me, I’ll use a top tier player who consistently goes under the radar. X marks the spot for me in the desert—Xander Schauffele for the win.
Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Louis Oosthuizen
Matthew Wolff almost got there for us last week but was just a bit late to the Party. This week I will be using Louis Oosthuizen. I think the winning score will be somewhere in the mid-teens. Not relatively as easy as last week, but this is a resort course, so these guys should be able to score here. Louis finished well last week with a seven-under-par round to finish 19th, and at the US Open, he finished 3rd so that he can play any style. It’s been a while since we’ve had a back issue/WD with him, so fingers crossed, knock on wood, and I haven’t jinxed that. Best of luck!
Ruvy (@MichaelRuvolo) – Sungjae Im
Running out of time, but I’ll keep using big guns cause why not. Sungjae IM will be my pick for this week. Sungjae is an elite young talent, as we all know who can win at any time. Hopefully, a lot of other people have used him.
Bubba (@bdentrek) – Louis Oosthuizen
I don’t want to take the same pick as my buddy Jesse as I will not pass him, but he is one of the best options I have left right now. All the big guys are used up already, so here we are. Hopefully, he has his proper mattress this week so he can continue his outstanding play. He has finished 25th or better in five of his last six events. He has a great tee to the green game, and if it shows up at Shadow Creek, he should be able to put up another intense week. Give me Louis and pray we don’t see a withdrawal.
