What a wild weekend at the Honda Classic. Sungjae Im finally got the W and we couldn’t be happier. Jesse and Kevin had solid weeks overall, yet the standings are still the same. This week we head to Orlando for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. It’s only 120 man field, so there will be many making it to the weekend. There is a lot of money on the line, so let’s see who the guys like with the 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational PGA OAD Picks.

Welcome to Bay Hill and the Arnold Palmer Invitational. One of my favorite events annually. Bummer the field isn’t as strong as it could be leading into The Players.

I have a lot of bullets left for the rest of the year and I’ll be firing early and often in the 2nd segment beginning next week. Rosie, Rory, Fleetwood, and Bryson “pop” for me this week.  But I’m punting one more week until I fire bullets from The Players through TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP. I’m going to Tyrrell Hatton this week. Best of luck to you all.

Daniel Berger came through with a solid finish last week, finishing inside the top 5 again.  Unfortunately I am still winless on the year and now “only” $3 million back of first place. Mr. Brightside says I’ve only had 1 guy miss the cut since the OAD started. This week I am going to use Jason Day.  Since 2010 he has made the cut in every appearance at the API. I know he WD last year, but that isn’t counted because he did that before the tourney started. With that said I am also going to have to put some thought into the alt pick, as is the case anytime you take a guy with back issues.  J Day is coming off a missed cut, but was 4th in his start before that.  So off we go. Best of luck this week!

Quick recap of the Honda pick that was done about 6 holes after it started. Swing changes aren’t always a good thing…Rickie!

This week I’m going with Bryson Dechambeau. Ball strikers paradise that is usually won by a hot putter. Bryson had a hot putter in Mexico and he’s a very good ball striker as we all know. He took a week off which was good for him I believe. The field is better than the Honda but not the best field in the world. Bryson is the second betting favorite. Not sure he will ever be that high again. I’ll roll with Bryson hoping he stays hot.

Shane Lowry looked like a great pick up till the end, but it wasn’t meant to be. He faded on Sunday and left me with some small earnings. I am still searching for a big win this season and I will try to find it at the API. I will be going with a muscle bound golfer. A golfer that is locked in right now with a 2nd and 5th in his last 2 starts. He has finished 8th or better in 3 of his last 4 starts. He has made all 3 cuts at the API and finished 2nd back in 2018. This week I am gambling on Bryson DeChambeau to wear that beautiful red sweater this week.
