Well after a much needed week off we are back with our weekly OAD picks. For those keeping track at home, Jesse smoked everyone last week with his Cantlay pick. Chet was the only one to miss the cut with his Jim Furyk pick. This week we head to Kevin’s stomping grounds at Quail Hollow for the Wells Fargo Championship. It’s one of the toughest courses on tour so it should be another wild weekend with some crazy missed cuts. Let’s see who the guys like this week in the 2019 Wells Fargo Championship PGA OAD picks.

Bubba (@bdentrek) – Jason Day

Yeah, I know, it’s hard to back a player that can WD at anytime with a bad back. There are reports he can’t even run right now, yet he continues to compete in these PGA Tour events. An outstanding showing at The Masters to finish 5th and now he’s had a little time to rest since then. Now he heads to Quail Hollow where he’s the defending champ, he’s made all 3 cuts here and has 2 top 10’s. He’s made 8 of 10 cuts his year and when he’s made the cut he’s no worse than 11th. He loves these tough courses and as long as the back holds up he’ll be in position to contend again this week.

Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Lucas Glover

For the Wells Fargo Championship I will be using Lucas Glover. Dude is either Top 15 or missing the cut. Since he missed the cut at the last tourney he played I’m hoping this is a top 15 minimum.

Chet (@AtomicBets) – Hideki Matsuyama

Running extremely cold in this contest all of a sudden, so who better to take this week than a guy who can’t putt?! I believe that Quail Hollow requires a lot more tee to green wizardry than most courses and it is extremely long. Just need average putting from Deki for him to be in contention.

Rob (@AllDayEvery365) – Webb Simpson

You want to talk about a complete fog of a few weeks. Feels like the Masters was years ago at this point no real golf in between. Going with Webb Simpson this week as Quail Hollow seems to fit his game quite well. Fresh off a Top 5 (!) at the Masters, Webb’s game seems in good shape gaining strokes OTT and APP at the Heritage as well. I’m not going to use him for bigger tournaments down the line so might as well give him the chance to ruin my weekend in May than in August.
