What an awesome weekend THE PLAYERS. Some great golf with Rory ending up the winner. He’s been one of the hottest golfers on the planet and finally broke through with the win during that stretch. Tommy Fleetwood really teased Kevin and Bubba but they still cashed decently. Rob’s DJ call was very solid as he tied with Fleetwood fro earnings on the week. JT brought home a little cash for Jesse, while Stenson left Chet with the goose egg. Now, the PGA Tour heads to Innisbrook for the Valspar Championship. It will be another challenging course and ball striking will come at a premium. Let’s see who the guys like in the 2019 Valspar Championship PGA OAD Picks.

Chet (@AtomicBets) – Webb Simpson

How embarrassing is a MC at the Player’s Championship?! I took a huge risk with Stenson and paid dearly for it. Wow that was bad. Gonna ride with my main man “Shank” Simpson this week and hope to not be bitching about a MC on the front 9 Thursday.

Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Dustin Johnson

For the Valspar Championship I will be using Dustin Johnson.  It is a gamble to use him in an event where the payouts aren’t that great, but I need some wins and I think DJ gets it done this week.

Bubba (@bdentrek) – Patrick Reed

Reed is a golfer that isn’t usually fun to roster in an OAD format. He is a very consistent golfer, makes his cuts but we haven’t really seen him contend much this season. When it comes to Innisbrook though Reed has some amazing course history. He was a putt on 18 away from a playoff last year, finishing 2nd. He has made 4 straight cuts at the Valspar including 2 T2’s and a T7. Reed is always risky, but I’ll ride that course history and some decent recent form to help add onto my lead in the OAD.

Rob (@AllDayEvery365) – Brandt Snedeker

With the change in schedule the Valspar has some interesting names this week and I don’t necessarily want to use one of the big names. Brandt had a nice little Sunday at the Players and has made three cuts here at the Valspar with some less than spectacular results. He’s gained strokes off the tee in 8/12 rounds off the tee and mixed some miserable results in his approach. People won’t dig into the facts of last year that much, but a final round 78, dropped Sneds from a tie for the lead down to his 31st position. Hoping for some of the same magic and hot putter gives me Bermuda Brandt this week.

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Patrick Reed

I’m going Fat Pat this week.  Great showing last year. DJ as always is a nice play but I’d like to save him for a MAJOR. Already used Sergio who is also a great play.  Anyone really care about Valspar? The NCAA tips off tomorrow.
