We are back after a week off from the PGA OAD picks. The WGC Match Play is in the books with Kevin Kisner taking down the field. This week the PGA Tour stays in Texas and heads to TPC San Antonio, the AT&T Oaks Course, for the Valero Texas Open. Some are out here tuning up for THE MASTERS while others are trying to play themselves into next week’s major. Let’s see who the guys like to win with the 2019 Valero Texas Open PGA OAD Picks.

Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Jason Kokrak

Last week’s pick of Brooks Koepka didn’t quite pan out as I thought it could.  I hope skinny Brooks gets healthy and comes back strong.  Anyway for the Texas Open I will be using Jason Kokrak.  He is trending toward a win and it’s Kokrak Super Tilt Week.  Yes I just made that up.

Chet (@AtomicBets) – Ryan Moore

Almost pulled the trigger on Captain Furyk here and I am betting ol’ Squidward (Furyk looks like the Spongebob character) to win but it’s all Ryan Moore for my OAD. I don’t think many people will be on him since he’s not exactly spitting hot fire. But you don’t have to be hot coming in as evidenced by winners here over the years. Hell even Bowdo won the Valero Texas Open back in his prime. Moore just feels due to me. Nice T20 at the Players a few weeks ago and more importantly, he needs to win to get into the Masters field at Augusta.

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Matt Kuchar

Two weeks ago Fat Pat gave me my first missed cut of the year.  Then my guy Poulter laid an egg at Match Play. Now we get an event I really don’t care about…Valero?!?!  I loved the Shell as a lead in to Augusta, but we get Valero now. Ok?

Charley Hoffman, Matt Kuchar, and Jimmy Walker jump out at me. I think the fact many HATE Kuch right now plays into my hand. I’ll take that big goofy twat here in Texas.  Let’s go MOOCH, or is it KOOCH?

Bubba (@bdentrek) – Billy Horschel

Billy Ho is always a golfer I like to use in DK, but always worry about his chance to win. Well, I like his chances this week. This is a course where accuracy off the tee is vital and then just as important is a great approach game. Horschel has great iron play and if he’s on this week he can be in contention. He’s made 6 of 8 cuts at the Valero, including an 11th/4th/3rd in 3 of the last 4 seasons. Give me some Billy Ho.

Rob (@AllDayEvery365) – Benny An

The guy’s T2G has been nuts the past few weeks and he hasn’t missed the cut since the St. Jude last year. If you take a look at recent tournament winners, you’re going to see a bunch of guys who found a putter for the week and got hot: Landry, Chappell (Almost Tony), CHoff, Jimmy Walker, Bowdo. Just hoping Ben finds something this week and can get himself into the Masters.
