The Travelers was a very interesting tournament. Some big names and some course history machines played well. Chez Reavie picked up his first win in 11 years. All around a good weekend. This week the PGA Tour heads to Detroit for the first installment of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. We don’t really know how this course will play out and anything can happen, including a potential course worker strike. Lets see who the guys like in this week’s PGA OAD Picks.

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Hideki Matsuyama

Last minute i swapped Hideki for Rickie at Waste Management. It paid off getting a W!!!  To this point i haven’t used Decki so it seems appropriate to use him here where Rickie has a sponsorship with the title sponsor of this first time event in the Motor City.  Look for Matsuyama to win his first title of 2019.

Bubba (@bdentrek) – Kevin Streelman

We head to a course that we don’t know well and a course where I am really going to rely on accuracy and recent form. Streelman has been playing great golf of late and I am looking for his off the tee and approach game to continue on this week. Ryan Moore was a close 2nd. I’ve used a lot of the big dogs already so I am saving the ones I have left for some future events.

Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Kevin Streelman

For the Rocket Mortgage Classic I will be using Kevin Streelman as my OAD.  He has 6 straight made cuts with 3 finishes of 6th or better since April. While I do think long ball hitters will succeed here, Streels the reals has trending toward competing for a win, so hopefully this is the pinnacle.

Rob (@AllDayEvery365) – Ryan Moore

In a weak field where Moore is going to be a top 8 option in terms of betting odds, why not? A T15 at a similar track last week where Moore was making a ton of birdies after a T33 at the Memorial means good ole Ryan is #trending. With nothing to go off of for this tournament, I’m not using a big gun so Moore seems like a good use of my time.
