The best of the best are in the field and it should be another great major championship weekend. Let’s see who the guys like this week with the 2019 Open Championship PGA OAD Picks.

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Justin Thomas
Get ready to wake up early and watch some golf!!! I love it, in fact it’s a tradition I’ve had since i was a high schooler. I wake up AS SOON AS coverage begins. I may fall asleep a few times but it’s ok. The last few weeks have been great…Irish Open, Scottish Open, now The Open. I’ve been following a few guys who made the trek across the pond early. Rickie, Rahm, JT, Rory all stand out. Unfortunately I’ve used all but one of these guys already. JT is the only guy in my Top 10 who i haven’t used so there you have it. I’m going to be rolling with Justin Thomas. I do like Casey, Adam Scott, and all listed above. But i am confident JT can win his 2nd Major at Royal Portrush.
Bubba (@bdentrek) – Patrick Cantlay
I am going with one of the forgotten young guns. He’s been quietly putting together quite the season and is coming into the Open with great form. In his last 5 events he’s gone T15, T21, 1, T3 and T3. That’s not too shabby. Last year in his first career Open he finished in 12th place. He’s shown stones in major championships finishing T21 at the US Open, T3 at the PGA and T9 at the Masters. You need a good all around game to win the Open and Patrick Cantlay is my guy this week.
Rob (@AllDayEvery365) – Francesco Molinari
Never heard less talked about the seventh ranked player in the world than this. Let’s go back to last year, where oh, wait, he won the damn thing. I don’t have any big guns above him remaining and don’t think he’s going to throw much at the FedEx Cup so need to use him now. He’s actually gaining more strokes approach than he was at this point last year. He hasn’t been able to build in each category of SG for an entire tournament so might as well do it this week. Andiamo Frankie!
Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Jordan Spieth
For The Open Championship I will be using Jordan Spieth as my OAD. I need a small (large) miracle to cash even though I’ve hit a billion in a row made cuts. Speith has had plenty of success at this tournament in years past. He has made 6/6 cuts and hasn’t finished outside the top 40 in the last 5 years with a win and 2 other top 10s in there. I know he hasn’t had the best year, but he is a guy can turn it on at any point, especially when he gets comfortable. There is a lot of a money on the line, so if you are in the running the cash or finish highly getting the winner or a top 5 here will be massive. Best of luck!
