We finally head east as the West Coast Swing has come to an end with WGC Mexico in the books. DJ absolutely dominated, winning the event for the 2nd time in the 3 years it has been held in Mexico. Rory had a dominant opening round but just hung around the rest of the week and still grabbed a second. When all is said and done Bubba still has the lead, but there has been some changes. With the 2nd from Rory, Jesse moves up to second. And the really cool part is all 5 players are over the $1M mark already this season. Now the tour heading to Florida, to the hardest non-major course on tour. Lets see who they like in the 2019 Honda Classic PGA OAD Picks.

After my second 7 figure payday of the season, I’ll look to continue to add on at the Honda Classic. This course is super challenging and your player has to limit his time in the water. I’ll be going with Adam Scott. He’s currently in the top 30 in approach on tour and has been really solid playing Par 4’s which will be really important this week. His putter has been much better of late and is coming in with good form with a T7 and a 2nd in 2 of his last 3 events. He’s made 4 of 5 cuts here, including 4 straights. In those 4 made cuts he’s T14 or better including a win 3 years ago.

Kevin (@KevinsDelight) – Sergio Garcia ($1,224,867)

Welcome to Florida, home of the Florida swing, many PGA TOUR Professionals, and Asian massage parlors!!!

Immediately I gravitate to Rickie, JT, Woodland, Sergio, and Henley.  Unfortunately I’ve already used Fowler at Phoenix but did get the W…Feel free to use him as I think his return to the East Coast bodes well for him.  Sergio is in decent form. Gary is appealing but I’m more likely to fire a bullet this week. I’ve been all about some JT since his win at Quail Hollow but ill hold off. So why deviate from my initial gut pick.  Hogan said trust your gut so I will. I’ve already had one of my 3 coffees for the day and visited Ted Potter twice this morning. My gut tells me Sergio, so I’ll take him.

Best of luck this week.  As always feel free to ask any questions.

Chet (@AtomicBets) – Adam Scott ($1,512,600)

Just a hunch that he wins after finally finding good form with the putter so far this season. The Aussie has always played well at PGA National, almost always finishing in the top 15. I guess he will be popular this week but I’m going to continue with my strategy of “safe” picks for now.

Jesse (@DFSGolfGods) – Adam Scott ($1,675,941)

Last week it really was Rory’s to lose to a guy that couldn’t lose.  I’ll take the mill for second and move on.  This week we move to Florida and return to the scene of a massacre last year.  There was so much carnage around this place that it should be renamed the Honda Classarce, but they didn’t ask me.  I’ll be using Adam Scott.  He won here in 2016 and has in more recent months returned to that type of form.  I do think this will be a popular pick and I really wanted to take JT, but the money here this week isn’t like a major or even last week, so I’m going to save him.
